The question validation addon allows you to set up a question for participant's to answer prior to entering your campaign. This can be useful in scenarios where you want to verify a participant's knowledge or filter access to certain campaigns.

What is the Question Validation Addon?

The question validation addon restricts access to a campaign until a participant provides the correct answer to a question. It can be added to any campaign and serves as a flexible way to add a layer of verification to your campaigns!

Where can I add the Question Validation Addon?

You can add the question validation addon on any flow page by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the specific flow page where you want to enable the addon

  2. Open the row

  3. Open the column

  4. Click on Add new block

  5. Go to Addons

  6. Select Question Validation

How do I set it up?

1. Formulate your question and answer options

Start by filling out the question content according to your needs. You do not have to fill in all the answer options if you only want to give the participant two or three options to choose from.

2. Customize the button text (optional)

You can customize the button text if you'd like. By default, it will display Choose Answer.

Tip: Styling of the button follows the primary button, which can be customized in the backend under the layout section.

3. Action if the answer is wrong

You have three options if the user's answer is incorrect.

1. Inline message

With this option the user will encounter a message if their answer is wrong. You can customize the message in the section right below and choose whether the message should slide in or fade.

2. Go to flow page

This option will redirect the participant to a flow page of your choice.

3. Popover

Choosing this option allows display an existing popover when a user's answer is incorrect. You can always create a new popover for this purpose!
