A global integration is an integration that is set up on account level. The global integration can then be added to each of your individual Playable campaigns. With a global integration you can efficiently establish connection with your preferred ESP/CRM/Webhook and rotate your credentials across campaigns when needed.

Below you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to:

  • Set up a global integration

  • Add a global integration to a campaign

Creating a global integration

  1. Navigating to global integration management

Start by navigating to: AccountData ManagementData Automation.

In this section you can establish a global connection with a webhook or select one of the 13 most commonly used ESP/CRM systems available.

  2. Naming your integration for future use

Once you’ve chosen the integration method that suits your needs, we advise that you give your integration a descriptive name. This helps ensure that it can be easily identified and reused later in your campaigns. A clear, reusable integration name will save you time in the future.

  3. Establish global connection

How the integration is configured depends on the integration you have selected.

To complete the setup of your integration, we refer to the general Integration Guides which can also be found in our Help Center. These guides will walk you through the technical process of establishing a connection between the platform and your chosen ESP/CRM/Webhook, ensuring everything is configured correctly.

Managing your integrations

Remember! If you make changes to the global configuration, this will affect all campaigns utilizing this setup.

After successfully setting up your integration, it will appear in the Data automation overview section. Here, you can:

  • Copy the integration for use in other campaigns.

  • Change settings if adjustments are needed.

  • Remove the integration entirely if you no longer need it.

  • 'Number of integrations' refers to the number of times the integration has been added to a campaign.

This page acts as your control hub, giving you full management over your data connections.

Adding integrations to campaigns

To apply these integrations to your campaigns, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to IntegrationsAdd Integration.

  • Select integration type:

    • If using an ESP or CRM, select Email provider and choose your service from the list.

    • If you're using a Webhook, select Misc and choose the Webhook integration option.

  • Click 'configure now'

Once the integration is added, you’ll have the option to either create a new integration or use a global one.

Testing the integration

To test the integration, you must first add it to a campaign. Once you have added the integration, you can test the connection.

For a thorough test that includes game data, campaign information, and static information, you should play the game via the demo URL and submit a registration in the frontend.

After you register, go to the campaign backend. Under the Activity tab, you can see a note under each registration confirming whether or not the data was successfully sent through the integration.

If the integration fails, you can troubleshoot by looking at the log file. To learn more about troubleshooting your integration read here.
