You can add additional fields to your registration form by clicking "modify form" and "add field".

Below you can find a list of all the available form fields and what they can be used for.

For more information about how you can use validation to limit the kind of information entered by players, see this article: Registration Form Field Validation.

Can be one or more checkboxes (multi-select)

Can be linked via "CTA" to URL or popover (for terms & conditions)

User must select only one option

Radio buttons are round; checkboxes are square

Dropdown

User selects one option from a drop-down menu

Can add "search" function; can create list of countries

Input

A single line for free entry

No character limit, but validation can be added to require a specific format

Textarea

A larger area (approximately 3 lines) for free entry

No character limit, but validation can be added to limit input

Used to give extra information or instructions; can be linked via "CTA" to URL or popover

Divider

Not an input field; creates a horizontal divider line

Used to separate a form into sections

Phone number

An input field that only allows numbers, space, and +

Additional validation can be added; can be used to limit registration instead of email

Voucher mobile

An input field that is automatically generated when you add SMS notifications to bulk prizes

Cannot be deleted if SMS is activated; can be used for registration limit instead of email

File

Creates a link the player clicks to upload a file

Validation can be added to limit the types of files accepted. Read more here.

Advanced Form Fields

Less commonly used

Field Type Name

Description

Notes

Date

Either an input field or a calendar selector

Options to limit or restrict dates, require minimum age, or add time stamp

Hidden

A field that is not visible to the player

Should have a pre-filled or auto-filled default value (often used to record the traffic source); can be used to limit registration instead of e-mail.
To know more about how to use the hidden filed read this article.

Mask

An input field that only accepts numbers in a certain format

The "mask" you enter will control the format of the input (e.g. 99-99-9999)

Captcha

Creates an arithmetic problem the user must solve

Used to stop bots or spammers; will lower your conversion rate, so only use if necessary. Read more here.

reCAPTCHA

Google's captcha solution

Only for users with Google log-ins; must be added to your account. Read more here.

Rating

The player gives feedback in the form of stars or smileys

Choose one of 5 smileys or rate out of 5, 7, or 10 stars

Slider

The player selects one or two points on a line (two points for a range)

Set minimum, maximum, and default values as well as interval

Signature

Generates a link that opens a signature field in an overlay

Works best on a touchscreen; saves signature as .jpg file accessible via a link

CVR (Denmark-based accounts only)

Input field where a player enters their CVR number (Danish business ID)

Validates CVR number and automatically saves business name, address, and email under Activity > Registrations

DK Address Lookup

Input field with auto-complete (typeahead) to ensure a player enters a valid Danish street address

Only use street-address:

  • Do not include city or postal code in the address, only the street name and number (and apartment or floor, if relevant)

Address drop-down suggestions limit:

  • How many addresses to show at a time in the drop-down, maximum (and default) is 10

Require an address from DAWA:

  • Note the entire field should also be marked as Required if you don’t want any blank addresses

  • Don’t accept an address that isn’t from the drop-down menu. If an invalid address is entered, the “Validation message” is shown. Default message is “please select a valid address” (you cannot see this default message anywhere in the backend, so you wouldn’t know where to edit it)

  • If this box is not checked, then the player can select an address from the drop down or can just type whatever they want
