1. What sizes should I use for my bucket and falling images?

If you're not sure about the best sizes to use for your bucket and falling images, we've got a great article that can help. Check it out here.

2. Can I display how much time a participant has left of the time challenge and the points they’ve gathered?

You can enable “Indicators” under “Game Settings”. You can activate indicators for both time and score:

..and adjust the placement and styling of them:

We have an article for that right here.

3. What game height should I set for my drop game?

This depends on a few factors. Do you have indicators enabled? Do you have content above or beneath the game? If so, remember that there should be space for these outside of the actual game. Think of the game height as the total playable area; the top is where the falling objects appear, and the bottom is where they disappear. We recommend starting at 400-500px and adjust from here.

We have an article with more information right here.

4. Is it possible to control the speed of the dropping elements?

Unfortunately it isn’t. However, as default the speed increases if you collect elements with minus points. The speed will stop increasing after reaching a certain speed.

5. How can I make sure that participants can keep playing until the time is up, regardless of how many points they collect?

As default, participants are directed to the winner page as soon as they reach the required number of points. You can go around this by:

  1. Setting the winning points to an amount that isn’t possible to reach within the time limit:

  2. Set the visibility conditions for both your winner and loser page to be “All” and set the metric data visibility to be <xx points (loser page) and >xx points (winner page). See an example from a winner page here:

This way, you are defining the winner points via visibility conditions, rather than in the backend setting. Please note that this will make all players appear as “Losers” under their registration, as these are depending on the backend settings. Here is an article to help understand the metric data visibility conditions: here.
