If you want to automatically redirect participants to an external page, another campaign, or flow page after playing a game, this guide is for you! You have two simple options for setting up redirects without making use of a button.

Important: Avoid placing the redirect on the registration page. Doing so will prevent you from retrieving registration data.

Option 1: Redirect to a URL

Use this option to send participants directly to an external website or another campaign after they finish playing.

Imagine this scenario: You want to redirect participants to an external website immediately after playing the game, but you do not want them to see the next flowpage.

How to set it up:

  1. After the game page you need to add another flow page where the redirect will happen.

  2. On this new flow page, go to the Advanced tab.

  3. Check the Redirect User box and select Redirect to URL.

  4. Enter the URL where you want participants to be redirected (either an external site or another campaign)

Timing the redirect:

You can also choose when the redirect happens:

  • Redirect immediately: Participants will be redirected right away without seeing the flow page.

  • Redirect after x seconds: Participants will view the flow page for a number of seconds before being redirected.

You also have the possibility to chose whether the redirect should happen in the same window or a new window.

Option 2: Redirect to the Next Flow Page

Want participants to see a flow page for a few seconds before automatically moving to the next one? This option allows you to do just that!

How to set it up

  1. Go to the flowpage where the redirect will happen.

  2. Open the Advanced tab.

  3. Check the Redirect User box and select Go to Next Flow Page.

  4. Choose how many seconds (up to 30) the page will be visible before automatically redirecting to the next flow page.
