Recommended sizing for graphical assets

The graphical recommendations included in this guide are game-specific. You can find general recommendations for backgrounds, logos, and other images here.

Dimensions are listed in pixels, width x height.

Maximum file size: 700kb

File types: .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .svg

In Spot the Difference you usually have two images. The first one is the "complete" image. The second one is the image with "differences". Players click on the second image to mark where the differences are.

You can also have a version of the game with just one image. The image will have "mistakes" that the player has to find.

Note! Please make sure that your images don't contain overlapping mistakes.

Complete image (desktop)

  • Number: 1

  • Recommended size: 500 x 300 or 500 x 500

  • Maximum size: 650 x 400

  • The size of the image will depend on whether it is displayed side by side or above/below. Both images should be the same size.

  • The complete image is shown first (on top or on the left).

Image with differences or mistakes (desktop)*

  • Number: 1

  • Recommended size: 500 x 300 or 500 x 500

  • Maximum size: 650 x 400

  • The size of the image will depend on whether it is displayed side by side or above/below. Both images should be the same size.

  • The participant will click on this image to show where the differences or mistakes are.

Complete image (mobile)

  • Number: 1

  • Recommended size: 300 x 200 or 250 x 250

  • The complete image is shown first (on top). Images cannot be side by side on mobile.

  • You can use the same images on desktop and mobile. They will scale to fit the width of the screen.
