Use a voucher redemption page to track when prizes are collected

If your prizes will be collected in-store, you can set up a voucher redemption page. This feature is only available for bulk prizes.

The redemption page is a simple webpage your prize winners will show to your in-store employees, who can mark the prize as collected ("redeemed").

You will send your winners a link to this page in your winner email or SMS using the #bulk_prize_voucher_url# replacement tag.

Voucher redemption process

To redeem a voucher, all someone needs to do is click the icon and confirm.

After this, the prize cannot be redeemed again. This will ensure each prize is collected only once.

The redemption page process

The redemption page will always be viewed on a mobile touch screen, since winners will be showing the voucher in-store.

The redemption process includes 3 steps:

  1. The first page that loads, which should say what the page is and what the player/employee should do with it.

  2. The page that loads after the icon is clicked, allowing the person to confirm that they want to redeem the voucher

  3. The confirmation page, which shows after the voucher has been redeemed.

There is also a "redeemed" page. This is what will show then the URL is loaded after the prize has been marked as redeemed. This page should explain that the link is no longer valid.

Edit the redemption pages

To edit the redemption pages, navigate to Integrations > Bulk Prizes.

When editing the redemption page, you can edit:

  • the content of the page (using text, images, and replacement tags)

  • the page background color

  • the text color

  • the color and label of the icon (the pointing hand 👆)

Enable validation

To prevent accidental or unauthorized redemption of a voucher, we recommend you enable validation.

This will require a 4-digit code to be entered before the prize can be redeemed. Without the correct code, the voucher can't be marked as redeemed.

You can enter several different codes, and any of these codes will work — just make sure your employees know what the codes are!

Previewing the redemption page

Even though the redemption page is designed to be viewed on a mobile phone, you can preview the page on desktop while editing the content and design.

Before you can see the redemption page, you have to test-win one of your bulk prizes. Learn how to test bulk prizes here.

When you view the prize you have won in the backend, you can open the link to the redemption page. For final testing, we suggest you send yourself this link to view the page on your mobile device.
