1. How do I increase difficulty in the snake game?

You can increase the difficulty level by increasing the speed of the snake each time a player collects a target. In order to do so, you must enable the following setting under general game settings:

2. Can I upload my own target?

It is possible to upload your own target (apple), including your own snake as well. You tick this on/off under your general game settings:

Background image → Upload. You can follow our design guide right here.

3. Which grid layout should I choose?

The choice of grid layout depends on how small or large you want the playground for the snake to be. A smaller grid can make it more challenging to avoid the frame of the grid. This is however completely up to you - we recommend playing the game through and testing it out yourself.

4. How can you let participants keep track of their points during the game?

To let participants keep track of the points they’ve collected, you can enable an indicator for their score under “indicators” right here:

5. How do you play the game on mobile with no control keys?

Virtual arrow keys will appear beneath the game to “tap” when playing on mobile. Try to send the demo-URL to yourself and open it on mobile to see it in action.
