The graphical recommendations included in this guide are game-specific. You can find general recommendations for backgrounds, logos, and other images here.

In the Banko game, the Banko card is generated in the platform.

In the layout settings, you can define the look and feel of the grid, including:

  • Font type of the letters

  • Font color of the letters

  • Width of the letter grid

  • Color of the word grid

  • Border radius of the individual tiles

  • Spacing between the grid and the keyboard

  • Color of the keyboard

  • Font color of keyboard letters

  • Color of feedback

Below you can see how the different layout settings impact the design of the game.

Full-width layout on Word Riddle

Per default, the keyboard and tiles will not be full-width. If you want the game to take up the entire screen, you can make some adjustments to the configuration.

Remember that you can make separate settings for mobile, if you only wish to use full-width on mobile devices!

  1. Check that you have not set a grid max-width as this may impact the width of the game

2. Change the layout on the gameflow SECTION to full width and no spacing

3. Do the same thing for the GAME PAGE (flowpage)

4. If you want to add some spacing on the sides, you can add left and right side padding in the advanced tab

Importing words

For campaigns where you want to have several words perhaps spread out over a longer time period we've added an import words function. This allows for you to upload a CSV file with words that will be used in the game. There are two requirements for the list:

  1. Date range: You can specify a date range for each word. This ensures the word is only used within the selected timeframe, allowing for dynamic updates to your gameplay experience.

  2. Five-Letter words only: Each word in the CSV file must be exactly 5 letters long. This is a strict requirement to maintain compatibility with the game's mechanics.

A template for the word list can be found by opening the Words tab on the Game settings page.
