Creating a mobile-only campaign type

When creating a new campaign, you can select a campaign type specifically for mobile devices; a so-called 'Mobile-only' campaign. This is a great option if your campaign is meant only for phones or tablets, for example, if a game is played within an app.

By choosing a mobile-only campaign, you can focus entirely on tailoring a design optimized for mobile devices.

Copy or use mobile-only campaigns as a template

The mobile-only campaign type is configured differently than regular campaigns. This means, that a mobile-only campaign can only be copied into another mobile-only campaign. Additionally, if you save the campaign as a template, it can only be applied to another mobile-only campaign.

Changing the device type

If you create a mobile-only campaign but later decide that you would like to optimize it for all devices, it is possible to change the campaign type to an all-devices campaign. If you change the campaign type, remember to review the design & layout of the campaign.

In the general campaign settings, you can change the device type from 'mobile only' to 'all devices'. Doing so will reconfigure the campaign design to fit all devices, and it is therefore important that you review the campaign design on all devices after changing the device type to ensure it looks right.

Please note, that once you change the device type, you will not be able to change it back to a mobile-only campaign. If you want to switch back to a mobile-only campaign, you will need to create a new campaign and select the mobile-only campaign type.
