Tips & Example Prompts

Your AI assistant works best when it knows exactly which campaign you mean, where to make a change, and what result you want. This article covers habits that give good results, plus example prompts you can copy and adapt.

Best practices

Be specific

Name the campaign, the page and the outcome. Compare:

❌ "Make my campaign look better."

✅ "In my draft campaign Summer Wheel 2026, on the Welcome page: change the headline to 'Spin & win every day in July', add a short text underneath explaining that everyone gets one spin per day, and change the button text to 'Spin now'."

You can give the exact copy, or describe the goal and tone and let the assistant write it.

Work on drafts

The assistant can only change campaigns that have never been live. To rework a live or past campaign, ask it to make a copy first: "Copy Christmas Calendar 2025 as a new draft called Christmas Calendar 2026."

Ask for a plan before big changes

For anything larger than a small edit, ask the assistant to describe what it's going to do before it starts: "Before you change anything, tell me which pages you'll edit and what you'll change." This is especially useful before it deletes something, because deletions can't be undone.

Go step by step

"Build the welcome page" → review → "Now the thank-you page" gives better results than one very long instruction. It also makes it easier to spot and fix anything you don't like.

Check the result

Ask the assistant for the preview link of the page it just changed, and open it in your browser. Then open the campaign in the Playable editor to check it and finish the parts the assistant can't do, such as the game setup, prizes and emails.

Point it to your brand

The assistant can use things that already exist in your workspace:

  • your saved color schemes

  • your workspace fonts (a new brand font must first be added under your account's appearance settings)

  • images and logos in your media library

You can also give it hex color codes, or a public link to an image.

Install the Playable skills (Claude)

Skills are short guides that teach the assistant how to work with Playable campaigns, for example how to space pages consistently. They noticeably improve the results for design work. See Playable skills.

If something goes wrong halfway

When the assistant makes several changes in a row and one of them fails, the changes before it stay applied. Ask it to re-read the campaign before trying again, so nothing is done twice: "Something failed. Check the current state of the page before you retry."

Use the built-in "Build Playable Campaign" prompt

Playable MCP comes with a ready-made prompt that guides the assistant through building a complete draft campaign: choosing a concept and template, applying your brand, building the pages and the registration form, and finally giving you a preview. At the end it lists what you still need to finish in the editor.

In Claude, click + in the message box, choose the Playable connector, and pick Build Playable Campaign. You can add your goal, for example "lead generation for our Black Friday sale".

Example prompts

Replace the names in bold with your own campaigns, pages and folders.

Results and insights

For Summer Wheel 2026, compare last week with the week before on sessions and registrations. Which traffic sources brought the most participants?

Where do participants drop off in Black Friday Quiz? Is it worse on mobile than on desktop?

Look at the drop-off in Summer Wheel 2026. Copy it as a draft and suggest changes to the welcome page that could get more people to start the game.

Start a new campaign

I want to grow our newsletter list before Black Friday. Recommend a campaign concept and game type, show me a few templates, and create a draft from the one you think fits best. Use our Brand 2026 color scheme.

Create a draft from a spin-the-wheel template called Store Opening Wheel. Use the font Montserrat and our Brand 2026 colors.

Reuse a campaign

Copy Christmas Calendar 2025 as Christmas Calendar 2026. In the copy, replace every mention of 2025 with 2026 and update the intro text to match this year's theme: "a cosy winter market".

Translate all texts and form labels in my draft Summer Wheel 2026 – DE into German. Leave the brand name and the game untouched. List anything you couldn't translate.

Build and edit pages

In Store Opening Wheel, add a section at the bottom of the flow with three columns. Each column has an image, a short headline and one line of text about our opening offers.

Add a countdown to the welcome page of Black Friday Quiz that counts down to 28 November at 00:00.

Add a terms and conditions popover with this text: [paste text]. Add a small "Terms and conditions" button at the bottom of the registration page that opens it.

Registration form

On the registration page of Store Opening Wheel, add an optional phone number field and a required dropdown called "Nearest store" with these options: Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg.

Change the labels of the form fields on Summer Wheel 2026 – DE to German.

Branding and images

Upload our logo from https://www.example.com/logo.png to the folder Brand/Logos and use it as the campaign logo.

Make the background of every section in Store Opening Wheel white, the buttons our brand green #1E7F4F with white text, and the text dark grey #222222.

Show me the images in the Summer 2026 folder of our media library and pick one that fits as the hero image on the welcome page.

Design polish (works best with the Playable skills)

Review the spacing in Store Opening Wheel. Tell me what's inconsistent, and fix it after I've approved the changes.

Add subtle fade-in animations to the headline, text and button on the welcome page.
