The advanced personality test features can enhance your Personality Test by allowing you to modify default settings in six ways. To set up the integration, go to Game Settings > Advanced features and toggle on the additional features for the personality test.

Enable multiple answers

The first feature 'multiple answers' allows you to give the participant the option to select multiple correct answers. To enable the feature go to Game Settings > Advanced features > Questions. Here you can edit the individual question where you want the participant to select multiple answers.

The feature additionally adds three criteria to further control the functionality:

  • Minimum selected answers - controls the minimum number of answers required

  • Maximum selected answers - controls the maximum number of answers required

  • Custom message if the participant has selected too few answers - message displayed to participants who do not select enough answers.

Skip logic

The feature 'Skip logic' allows you to change what question or page a respondent sees next based on how they answer the current question. To enable the feature go to Game Settings > Advanced features > Questions. Here you can edit the logic for each of the answers through a drop-down giving the options for each of the following questions or pages. To learn more about how skip logic works in detail read the article Skip logic in a personality test.

Show what other people have answered

The feature 'show what other people have answered' presents a percentage overview of what other participants have answered shortly after submitting the answer. The setting is enabled firstly under Game Settings > Advanced features > Game Settings. After you toggle on the feature under advanced features, you'll have to enable it under Game Settings.

Note: the feature is not available for the answer type 'swipe'.

Add background image for each question

This feature lets you upload different backgrounds for each question in your Personality Test. To enable the setting go to Game Settings > Advanced Features > Questions. Here you can edit the question you would like to upload a separate background to.

When setting up the background, you will encounter three options to control its appearance on the question:

  • Behavior – Adjusts the size and scaling of the image.

  • Position – Controls the placement of the background.

  • Overlay – Enables you to apply a color or blurred effect to the background.*

To learn more about general background sizes or behavior, we recommend the articles General Recommendations for Image Sizes and Background Image Display, which cover everything you need to know.

Show feedback after each question

This feature allows the option to write a global feedback message for all questions or specific feedback for each question. To set up the feedback go to Game Settings > Advanced Features > Questions. Here you can edit the individual question where you want the feedback to be shown. The message will be displayed after submitting the answer and the participant will actively have to press the button to go to 'next question'.

Note: enabling this feature disables the ability to write individual feedback messages for each possible answer, making the two features mutually exclusive.

Add ESP identifier

'Add ESP identifier' enables an extra setting under each Personality in your Game Settings. This will help identify the Personality name when creating a field in order to send data through your ESP integration. With this, you can create your own exportable data point in the correct format to send to your ESP or CRM.

When setting up an ESP identifier it requires you to have an ESP integration set up under integrations. When your ESP integration is in place go to Game Settings > Advanced Features > Personalities. Under personalities, you have to write what you'd like as unique identifier for the specific personality.
